🔑 Setting Up AI Model API Keys
AMBA pairs your local files and analytical execution engine with frontier cloud intelligence for strategic reasoning. To operate AMBA, you need an API key from at least one supported AI provider.
🔒 Bank-Grade Security: OS Keychain Storage
IMPORTANT
Your API keys are never stored in plaintext.
AMBA writes all provider keys directly to your operating system's hardware-encrypted keychain:
- macOS: Encrypted in Apple's native macOS Keychain.
- Windows: Encrypted in Windows Credential Manager.
Keys are never written to disk files, logged, or sent to any central server.
